Anima elettrica

Anima elettrica was a project I had in Venice, Italy. With Beso, my Brazilian punk-poet of a friend on acoustic guitar and vocals, and Dario, my Sicilian friend who was playing the keyboards when he was not designing dream yachts, and Giovana on the background vocals.

Norah

Norah is two-piece band made of my friend Chris on the drums and on the guitar, and me and the guitar, keyboards and vocals. We made really cool music, soon to be mixed!
We called the band Norah, because our music used to scare the hell out of the cat of the house we were playing in. Her name is Norah, and this our way to apologize!

Music to come shortly!!

Un Été Sans Lumière

My friend Jason and I composed and recorded a few songs during the summer of 2010, under the moniker Un Été Sans Lumière (a summer without light, that's to pay a tribute Arcade Fire!)

The (Patagonia picnic table) effect

The Effect was an awesome band in which I played in Pittsburgh between 2009 and 2010. I played the guitar and and a few background vocals. We played our own compositions and played a few gigs in western Pennsylvania.
We recorded a 4-song demo during the 2010 spring, in the basement of an house in a Pittsburgh's suburb.

Rosemary

Rosemary

I played with Rosemary in Paris between 2007 and 2009. Rosemary is a band lead by Carol, an awesome singer/guitarist. I had a great time with her and the other guys!  Piéric on the bass, and Alexia on the drums! I played lead guitar and keyboards. We did several times the small venues circuit in Paris! We also recorded a 4-track demo that you can hear on myspace (or below):

Cvantez

Cvantez is an awesome band which I played a few gigs with in 2008. At the time they were playing a few shows with instrumental versions of their songs. I played guitar and a few hand percussions. Cvantez has released two albums, which have received very good reviews. They're still playing in Paris.

Bilbao

Bilbao (form Kurt Weil's Bilbao's song) is a sort of storage space where I put some ideas of songs. Some of these songs were used in Norah

Patapop

Patapop was an electrop project that my old friend Geoffroy and I pursued around 2006/2007 in Paris. I played guitars and sung a few background vocals. Geoffroy sang, played the other guitars, and programmed the bass, drum, and synth loops. We both composed and wrote these songs ("Bring back the mullet" was written by my friend Marie-Hélène).

Das Pixel

Das Pixel was a funk-jazz band that was active  between 2001 and 2004 in Paris. That was a real cool band with great musicians: Vincent on Fender Rhodes, Olivier on bass clarinet and soprano saxophone, Alexis on bass, Diemo on drums, Geoffroy on guitar and trumpet, and sometimes our friend Nicola on the flute. I played guitar and melodica. We used to do a few jazz covers, but we were mostly playing our own compositions. Most of them used asymmetric time signatures!
Check out this live recording or our hit single!

Big band de la Cité Universitaire de Paris

I participated to this big band between 2001 and 2003, on the guitar. We played some avant-garde jazz. This band was conducted four extraordinary jazz musicians: François Merville, Jean-Rémi Guédon, Serge Adams and Olivier (collectif Polysons). We played their compositions and their own arrangements of jazz standards. We played quite a few shows in some very nice theaters.
